Martinsfield Farm Shop
Farmers Ed and Heather offer a brilliant selection of local produce including organic meat, fruit, seasonal vegetables, breads, cakes and many other goodies sourced from the area. The range is always changing – so keep coming back!
Martinsfield is an organic farm with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability as well as producing foods of the highest quality. We can guarantee that everything tastes absolutely amazing!
So give the supermarket a miss and try some proper Devon food – you’ll really taste the difference! And a share of Farm Shop profits supports the restoration of the House & Grounds.
The Grounds
Our 13.6 acres of delightful Grounds are available for you to explore whenever Branches Café is open (unless special events are taking place).
Walk down the formal lime avenue with its glimpses of Poltimore Church and explore hidden pathways under giant trees – there’s always something to discover. Or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of this very special place.
But keep your eyes open – you might even glimpse a deer or two!
Dogs on leads are very welcome, and there’s a poo bin next to the path to the toilets.
Please note that the Grounds close promptly at 16.00. Do take care not to get locked in because it really annoys our resident ghosts.
