It’s 1925, Midsummer’s Eve and the wedding of the century is just around the corner – an event so momentous that the magic of fairyland collides with the real world. In the heart of an enchanted forest, chaos reigns as bickering bohemian fairies clash with a hapless troupe of actors in rehearsal and a quartet of lovers fleeing from reality. With wild love potions, passion, power struggles, follies, blunders and long-simmering tensions at play, anything can happen …
Set against a vibrant backdrop in which a black and white world transforms into technicolour and the vintage Roaring Twenties meets the boho timelessness of fairyland, this is a wedding celebration you won’t forget! Suitable for all ages, join us this summer for Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy, brimming with drama, humour, romance, and live music. Our dynamic ensemble invites you to revel in a spectacular evening of open-air theatre and a touch of midsummer madness.
