Heritage Open Day
September 20 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
All our ‘staff’ are volunteers so please be patient if they are busy.
Poltimore House is delighted to once again be part of this national celebration of the nation’s heritage. The house will be open, allowing visitors to view the architecture ranging from the Tudor wing in the courtyard (containing a 1960s operating theatre) to the Rococo splendour of the Saloon. New to see in the grounds is the recently reinstated obelisk in the neighbouring field and reworked pond area.
Visitor numbers in the house will be restricted to 30 at a time and so there may be some queuing. Masks will be required in the house and Chapel Cafe queue.
The Chapel Cafe will be open for drinks, snacks and a limited menu. Price List
Tickets are not required but if you register for a ‘ticket’ on www.ticketsource.co.uk it will help us monitor expected numbers.
