Portraiture Drawing Skills

with June Janes, local artist and teacher

A workshop based on drawing & watching with short fun exercises to get you going.

You will be able to drop in or out of the sessions as you wish.  Children welcome to join in – show the adults how its done whilst parents model! (children free although small donations welcome)

Sessions 1hr 15 mins.  Max 4 per session

Nature Under Pressure – Printmaking Workshop

with Karen Waterlow & Sarah Furby

Come and try Monoprinting with printmakers from the Double Elephant Print Workshop and make unique pictures inspired by nature to take away.

Felting bee workshop

with Kirsty Pearn of ‘Isca Felts’

Learn how to needle-felt and make your own bee to take home.

Sessions 1 hour.  Max 8 per session.

Todd Gray talk – advance tickets £10 including admission     14:00 (30 minutes) tickets

Marquee (inclement weather Shilhay room)  2pm max 20 people.  Book signing 3pm

 

Local historian and author Todd Gray’s talk based on his recent publication ‘Exeter’s historic houses and sudden destruction, 1800-2024’ is topical in that he will endeavour to put into context the impact of the recent fires at The Royal Clarence Hotel and our own Poltimore House.

Exploring natural dyes demonstration – donations welcome

Explore the world of natural dyes and the beauty of printed fabric with Helen Wilkins throughout the day – find her at the Cwtch just past the sensory gardens.
