Come and see how a garrison lived during the English Civil War. Demonstrations of weaponry, crafts and how plants were used for both medicine and food. There will be a talk on the Treaty of Exeter which was signed at Poltimore House thereby ending the hostilities in the South West.

Warning – the demonstrations of musket skirmishes and civil war cannon are loud and so this event may not be suitable for dogs and very young children.
The grounds will be closed to the general public during this weekend.
